Nutria finally available in Australia !! Nutria is a naturally water resistant material that is derived from a large South American water rodent. The water resistant properties make it much much easier for casting than say rabbit.
These crosscut strips have a fine soft underfur with long prominent guard hairs. The guard hairs make for a very buggy fly that is very popular for shrimp flies. The possibilities in Australia extend to some really buggy Barra Bunnies or Toad Flies too.
